Shtastlivetsa meaning “the lucky man” pays tribute to the Bulgarian writer Aleko Konstantinov (1863-1897). He is a journalist and writer of satirical feuilletons, a cosmopolitan traveler and the first Bulgarian to write about his visits to Western Europe and America in the 19th century. He is also the creator of Bay Ganyo, the most popular figure in Bulgarian literature.
